Aquatic Technician (Seasonal)
Great for high school and college students who need a job during the summer. Aquatic Technicians are regularly responsible for:
- Making and posting notification signs
- Becoming a certified applicator
- Applying algaecides and herbicides
- Assisting with vegetation surveys
- Performing Water sampling
- Assisting with shoreline restoration projects
- Applying biological augmentation treatments
- Installing Aeration Units
- Deliveries and Mailings
- Helping with maintenance
- Required to pass two MDARD certification exams
- Much more!
Aquatic Technicians must have excellent verbal skills because they will interact daily with customers. They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check. Willing to work 40+ hours per week and go above and beyond.
